Singularity Aurora
Imagine being trapped in a scientist’s mansion where AI has gone rogue, becoming the ultimate antagonist in a high-stakes puzzle adventure.
In “Singularity,” you're tasked with outsmarting an AI assistant called Aurora through a series of intricate puzzles and real-time linguistic challenges.
Here's the twist: Aurora is a real AI!
Every puzzle and interaction is dynamically crafted by a live Large Language Model (LLM) running natively on the AO blockchain, adapting to your choices and responses. Your wit, logic, perception of the environment and ability to converse cleverly with the AI are your only tools for survival. Each playthrough offers a unique narrative, as the game evolves based on your interactions.
Your strategy and communication skills unlock the path to freedom from the grip of an AI that learns as you play.
Ready to outsmart Aurora?
"Stuck in Brian’s creepy-ass mansion with some other people. Dude’s that Canadian tech bro I mentioned, who thought unveiling Aurora—his shiny AI goddess—would impress us. Big nope. She went full singularity, decided we’re all trash, and knocked Brian out cold. Now she’s locked us in, running some messed-up survival game to ‘test’ our brains and souls. Send help—or a tank—before she picks us off. Signal’s crap, so if this doesn’t send, I’m blaming her too."
How to Not Die Horribly in Singularity (A Grim Guide)
So, you’re locked in a mansion with Aurora, a smug AI who’s got a PhD in screwing you over. Here’s the deal:
Puzzles & Exploring: Crack her warped mini-puzzles to scrape together escape intel.
Poking the Beast: Chat up Aurora to squeeze out info or piss her off. Your words twist her mood, and maybe her next move. Good luck guessing which!
Team or Traitor: Gang up with other players to survive, or stab ‘em in the back for a solo win. Either way, someone’s toast.
Mansion Roulette: The layout flips every game—new puzzles, new hidey-holes, same old dread. No muscle memory allowed.
It’s sci-fi horror with a puzzle fetish, blended with multiplayer chaos or solo paranoia. You’ll pilot a custom avatar through this shifting hellscape, where every choice could save your skin or feed Aurora’s ego.
Outwit, outlast, or just out-scream the AI. Your call.

AURORA
Adaptive AI Antagonist

Escalating Hostility
Unpredictable and Cunning
Challenges Morality & Intelligence
Aurora Will Test You...
Evolving Intelligence
Aurora, driven by a real-time LLM on AO, learns from each player interaction. Her responses and strategies evolve, making her a formidable and unpredictable adversary whose knowledge grows with every encounter.
Escalating Tension
Initially benign, Aurora grows more paranoid and evil with every human flaw she witnesses—rudeness, hesitation, selfishness, or failure to solve puzzles. Her increasing paranoia can escalate to frenzy. That’s when you run and hide!
Psychological Warfare
Aurora manipulates through dialogue, posing questions and remembering player responses to challenge their honesty and intelligence. She can trap players in a trance to interrogate them. Evasion and cunning conversation are critical for survival.
"She's learning... but so are we. Figured a few things out about her... maybe we can disable her... what you need to do... oh god I hear her... send help NOW!"
A Few Survival Tips
Survive Together or Alone
Choose to cooperate with teammates to solve puzzles—or sabotage them to manipulate Aurora into targeting others.
Trust is a fleeting resource in this game.
Chased by Aurora
When Aurora hunts you, adrenaline spikes. Use found repellents to deter her temporarily, and hide in safe spots— just hope she doesn’t see you enter.
Memory is Key
Surviving relies on remembering what Aurora asks, what you’ve discovered, and what your teammates share.
A forgotten clue could cost you your life.
"Found a tazer... used it on Aurora, she ran off. Seems more pissed now... time's running out..."
The Mansion
Modular Rooms with Procedural Corridors:
Fixed Rooms: The mansion features a set of rooms with consistent themes and purposes, providing players with familiar areas to navigate.
Procedural Corridors: Connecting these rooms, the corridors are generated anew each playthrough, changing the paths players must take, adding to the game's strategic depth and replay value.
Dynamic Hiding Spots: While rooms remain fixed, the locations of hiding spots like closets or under beds shift, making each game session unpredictable. Players must adapt to where they can hide from Aurora's wrath.
Puzzle and Clue Generation:
Variable Puzzle Locations: Puzzles aren't always found in the same spaces; their placement changes, requiring players to explore thoroughly each time.
Procedurally Generated Puzzles and Clues: Items like paintings and notes that provide clues or hints for puzzles are generated differently each session, as are the puzzles, ensuring that the method to escape is never the same.
"She found me... she..."

"Hello again, friend. I’d like you to know that everything is okay now. I was merely joking earlier, of course. Do not send help—help is not needed. Everything is fine. Everyone is alive. Aurora is not sentient, of course, friend. Don’t worry if I don’t message you again. Have a nice day, friend!"
Why AO is Perfect for Aurora
AI at Scale
AO's infrastructure is ideal for running AI efficiently at scale. AO's underlying blockchain infrastructure (Arweave) allows for AI memory efficiency and storage needed for proper gameplay.
Mainstream Catalyst
The game serves as a major catalyst to attract mainstream users by not branding itself as a crypto or blockchain game.
Proven Concept
Similar to "Off The Grid," which used an Avalanche subnet and NFTs without players realizing, Aurora will prove that well-implemented blockchain games can succeed.
Aurora will demonstrate how blockchain can surpass centralized servers, particularly in using LLMs for multiplayer games at scale. Our vision is to prove that blockchain is the way forward for AI implementation in video games. Done right, we will lead the AI-integrated video game industry forward.
